BIOGRAPHY

MIKE D-FEKT Since the age of 12 when i started drum lessons, i began seriously delving in to music of all genres from rock to hip hop. Started producing grime and hip hop in 2003 and spent every spare second in the music room of high school. Since then i have practiced my craft and adapted it in to a quirky style of bass music that suits who i am as a person. Mike D-fekt is the name i go by because i think i am a defect of the mainstream, but showing that a defect does not have to be a bad thing. It's imperfect, refreshing and most of all it's knowing that you can have fun without being exactly what everyone else is.
